LVQ-WP Werkstoffprüfung GmbH, which is located in Mülheim/Ruhr and Magdeburg, currently employs a staff of 88 members in the fields of education, testing services and inspection performance. The company is an approved training center of Deutsche Gesellschaft für zerstörungsfreie Prüfung (DGZfP).

A significant part of the business activity are destructive testing and non-destructive testing for enterprises of engineering, metallurgy, automobile supporting industry and wind power plant engineering all over Germany. The enterprise is accredited to DIN EN ISO 17025 and internationally recognized. Furthermore, the company operates a DIN EN ISO 17020 accredited inspection body for material expertises, e.g. for cases of damage.

LVQ-WP Werkstoffprüfung GmbH will provide for the participants in the network their extensive knowledge to the customer needs in the fields of non-destructive testing technology and recent testing technologies developed by the network members will be tested, used and published for the market. The company hopes for a specific exertion of influence on the FuE processes and therefore for strengthening their market position. In the end, the knowledge from the networking will be integrated in educational activities of the company.
