The company, which is specialised on ultrasonic measurement technique and ultrasonic sensors, was founded in 1991. Today, ca. 70 people are employed in development, production and sales. SONOTEC is certified according to DIN EN ISI 9001:2008 and ATEX directive 94/9/EG. The product range includes customised transducers, probes and sensors, ultrasonic testing equipment as well as ultrasonic process devices, which are used for non-contact liquid level measurement and control, distance measurement, non destructive testing, wall thickness measurement, air bubble detection in liquids, leak detection, tightness control, fitting testing as well as machine diagnostics. The solutions are applied in many different industries, such as the aviation industry, medical technology, pharmaceutical industry and power plants.
