The Institut für Nichtklassische Chemie (INC) in Leipzig – as an independent and free research institute – acts as a link between applied basic research and industrial processing development for projects and research assignments for the industry. The main problems are high-pressure and high-temperature chemistry, adsorption technology, biogas treatment, waste water treatment, new analysis methods, extraction of natural substances, catalytic oxidation of waste water as well as the expertise of projects from entire activities.
Within the past years the INC has analysed special issues for the use of ultrasonic in chemical technology. Currently, a great deal of interest is in ultrasonic based measurement of levels in high-pressure autoclaves.
